8 days, 82 people: praying for summer camp #1

Our first big summer camp is here! Please pray for our staff and kids as they travel and spend time together. Our first Stop the Cycle groups will be at camp from July 22nd to July 29th.

Director Andrey Pankyeyev shared some prayer requests for this particular group, which includes 82 people (adults and children) traveling south through Ukraine to the Black Sea.

Please join us in praying…

  • that the bus trip would go well – that kids (and adults) won’t be carsick. We have a big bus and two vans for everyone on the trip.
  • that the weather would be good – not extremely hot, and not cold either.
  • that God would keep the sea warm. With our 32 kids, ten of them under age three, this is critical! Sometimes there’s a cold current and it’s too cold to swim.
  • that the preaching, mentoring, counseling, and fellowship will plant good seeds in the hearts of our young adults – orphan moms and dads – and for growth and learning for those who are following Jesus already.
  • the kids would stay healthy.
  • for the staff to have energy & not to be exhausted.
  • that our American team traveling to take part would be blessed on the way, in Ukraine, and would take blessings in their hearts back to the U.S.

Please also pray for our other two upcoming camps: the second Stop the Cycle group at the end of August, plus Shelter and Educational Outreach trips.

Thank you, all, for carrying us into the time you spend with God in prayer. In everything we do, we depend on the strength He provides.
