“Time to Go”: photo blog with Ed. Outreach
From Lena Voznyuk
This Friday we had a special meeting for kids from trade schools all over who are part of Educational Outreach.
Two years have passed since we started having these meetings, and I see how the kids have changed!
I asked them to be helpers and serve new guests during this meeting, and they happily said “Yes.”
Nastya and I were thrilled and a little nervous about our planning: what topic to share and how to prepare everything.
We organized our meeting in rented café, where we shared treats and coffee from the coffee machine we’d brought.
We also had games and quizzes.
The topic was “Time to Go”: We wanted to emphasize the importance of time, because time is short, and it’s important to start investing in your future right now.
I asked the kids to write short letters about how they see their future in 10 years.
It was fun for them to imagine and describe their dreams.
Then we have discussed the steps they have to take to achieve everything they want in those 10 years.
I chose few short videos to watch on the big screen about time and how to use it properly.
Our team performed a sketch and then Vasya shared some words.
Our kids really enjoyed the meeting.
They expressed positive responses and emotions on social media, and they’re looking forward to the next time.
I am truly glad I can serve these kids!
